Discounted Services for Qualified Applicants
What is California LifeLine?
California LifeLine is a state-sponsored discount program that helps make home phone or internet service more affordable for qualifying households. As your local, family-owned provider, CalTel proudly participates in this program to support individuals and families who need essential communication services without stretching their budget.
A standalone broadband plan does not include voice service for making 911 calls. Customers may be de-enrolled from the program due to non-usage. Only one service is allowed per household, except for TTY users who may receive a discount on a second phone line.
